The Chartwell Group is a privately owned provider of financial solutions. Its range of operating businesses help clients nationwide make the most of their financial investments.

Since 1995 Chartwell Direct has been providing clients with exceptional service and discounts whilst Chartwell Private Client has been advising and supporting high net worth clients since 2000. Chartwell has over 35,000 clients nationwide, and over £2 billion of assets under agency. There is currently in excess of £110 million invested in the three Chartwell Funds. Chartwell has achieved these exceptional figures through organic and acquisitioned growth.

      • Chartwell Healthcare is launched
2. 2007
   1.  
      • The whole business was rebranded to Chartwell Group Ltd
   2.  
      • Chartwell acquires the Broadoak Group Ltd, an IFA based in Bristol
   3.  
      • Chartwell funds are positioned Number Two in the second quartile and Number One in the first quartile
3. 2006
   1.  
      • Cavendish Grant OEIC was launched with three sub-funds: Cautious Growth, Balanced Income and Strategic Growth

      • Chartwell Funding Ltd was established
   3.  
      • investorcentre.com business was launched to existing clients

      • Lord MacLaurin of Knebworth becomes Cavendish Grant’s Chairman
4. 2005

      • Cavendish Grant acquired the Chartwell business and relocated staff to Minerva House
5. 2003

      • Cavendish Grant opened an office in Clifton, Bristol
6. 2002
   1.  
      • Cavendish Grant moved to Minerva House

      • Cavendish Grant acquired the IFA business of Mogers Solicitors
8. 2000
